By-law #308-2008 relative to maximum speeds on roads in West Bolton

WHEREAS paragraph 4 of article 626 of the Highway Safety Code (L.R.Q., cC-24.2) permits the municipality to adopt a by-law to set minimum and maximum speed limits on roads in it’s territory;

WHEREAS it is necessary to replace article 3 of by-law #308 in order to ensure the safety of citizens;

WHEREAS a notice of motion for the present by-law was given at the regular council meeting held August 4, 2008;

THEREFORE it was moved by seconded by and unanimously carried THAT the following be decreed and ordained:

PUBLIC NOTICE
It is prohibited to park all road vehicles on public roads between 11:00pm & 7:00am during the period November 15 2009 to March 31 2010 inclusively.
